East Tenn Democrats to host candidate marathon with Bradshaw, George, Hoyos and others
This Saturday, take time to meet and learn about the democratic candidates vying for political office. Look for their names on the November 3rd ballot along with presidential contenders Biden and Trump.

Candidate for Senate Marquita Bradshaw has dedicated Saturday, Sept 19 to meet and greet her potential East Tennessee constituents.
Bradshaw lives in Memphis. She will be making stops to meet and listen to the concerns of East Tennesseans at the following locations:
Danny Mayfield Park in Mechanicsville at 10:30 am. to meet and share your concerns with the candidate. This outside event allows for COVID-19 social distancing and masks are required.
At 12 noon, Bradshaw will make her way to Alcoa, Tenn. where she will be speaking at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Center. Additional candidates will include write-in for State Senate Patti Young; candidates for U.S. House Dist 2 Rene Hoyos, State House Dist 20 Jay Clark, Dist. 20 Susan Sneed; and Sarah Herron for City Council. From 6:30-8:30 pm, Bradshaw will join the Jane George for State Senate (Dist. 6) for a two-for-one fundraiser. Both women are running on a progressive democratic platform.
The cook-out will require wearing facemasks and allows for proper socially-distancing at the Corryton Good Life Farm, 1709 Tazewell Pike, from 6:30-8:30 p.m., on Saturday, 19 September 2020. A $25 donation includes dinner (meat or veggie burgers with chips), music, and candidate meet and greet. Tickets can be purchased here. All funds will support the Jane George campaign for Tennessee Senate Dist. 6.
