FAITH LEADERS CAN PICKUP REOPENING TOOLKITS

KNOXVILLE, TN (May 21, 2020) Tool kits to assist with reopening churches will be distributed from 11am till 1pm, Thursday, May 21st at CONNECT Ministries office, 3615 Martin Luther King Avenue. The kits contain recommended products, safety gear, CDC guidelines and more to help safely reopen churches.

A diverse group of nearly 60 leaders of faithbased organizations is participating in weekly, 1-hour teleconferences that include in-service training taught by subject matter experts and medical personnel. The tool kits contain:

reopening posters
church operating guidelines
how to disinfect the building
product samples for cleaning, defogging,
masks, gloves, thermometer protective gear
CDC comprehensive guide book

If buildings are not properly sanitized before reopening and while occupied, and during service people will die! Each congregation is encouraged to appoint a COVID-19 coordinator and workgroup to develop a plan to safely reopen places of worship.
