Candidates Park, Lundy, Durrett to hold Online Rally

Matthew Park’s Campaign for State House to host a virtual (online) rally with county commission candidates Dasha Lundy and Courtney Durrett

Knoxville, TN (8 April 2020) – Matthew Park, progressive democratic candidate for State House Dist. 15, will conduct a live virtual rally today, 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., Thursday, April 9th.

With Park will be county commission candidates Dasha Lundy for Dist. 1; and Courtney Durrett for the Dist 2 seat. Speakers will share their platforms. Representatives for Indivisible Tennessee and Black Coffee Justice also plan to speak. Local artists are scheduled to perform.

“Even with COVID-19 going on, our climate is still in crisis, schools are still underfunded, healthcare access is lacking, and our criminal justice system is still incarcerating people on a massive scale,” Park said. “Now is the time to ensure that we overcome and end up with a better government, economy, and world post-pandemic.”
