KNOXVILLE, TN (March 18, 2020) – In light of the current COVID-19 pandemic, the City of Knoxville has added the option to view our bid openings and attend pre-bid meetings via Zoom and will be encouraging vendors to make use of this social distancing option.
We’ve posted addenda to all our current bids with instructions and the link to each Zoom meeting. We are also providing the option to submit an electronic bid.
To ensure that you are prepared to submit a bid electronically, be sure to follow the steps below to register as a vendor with the City.
To register as a vendor:
Visit the website at www.knoxvilletn.gov/purchasing
Click the “Vendor Registration” tab; then “Click here to register as a City of Knoxville Vendor” Follow the prompts to complete online registration.
Note: You will be asked for a PIN. This PIN will be emailed to you and may have been sent to your spam or junk folder.
TO BE CONSIDERED, BE A REGISTERED VENDOR WELL BEFORE THE DEADLINE. The electronic submission link will be disabled at 11 a.m. Eastern time. Vendors will not have the ability to submit any electronic files once the deadline has passed.
