JOHNSON CITY, TN – Kirby Lynn Hill, Pastor of Jubilee World Outreach (JWO) passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at the Johnson City Medical Center.
He was a graduate of Alcoa High School and East Tennessee State University.
Pastor Hill was a founding member of JWO where he served as Senior Pastor. He was active in the community, serving on the allocation team for the United Way of Washington County TN, Johnson City Weed and Feed, Milligan College Diversity Council, Mountain Empire Pastor Fellowship
Preceded in death by his parents Eldie (Jabo) Hill and Elizabeth Jackson-Hill. Survivors include his wife Debra Silvers Hill, children Joshua Silvers, Jacquelyn Hill; brother Logan Hill, sisters Jacqueline Hill and Deretha Hill, sisters-in-law Cora (Michael) McGuire, Elizabeth Silvers, Joyce Gaines, brother-in-law Steve (Mural) Silvers, grandchildren Inaya McGue, Jeanique Silvers, Joshua Silvers II, Terrance (TJ) Whitman. Special nieces and nephews: Malika Hill-Jones, Rennika Gaines, Kenyon Hill, Trazel Silvers. Special great niece Ayanna Silvers, special aunts Rose Gillespie, Louise Gilmore and a host of other nieces, nephews, uncles, cousins, family members, and church family members.
Pastor Kirby will be deeply missed by all who had the opportunity to converse with him.
The family will receive friends Saturday, May 18, 2019, from 12-2 pm, with service to immediately follow at Jubilee World Outreach, 1409 Indian Ridge Rd, Johnson City TN 37604.
