NASHVILLE, Tenn. (October 13, 2021) – Hendrell Remus, Chairman of the Tennessee Democratic Party extends an invitation to attend the 2021 TNDP “Three Star Dinner” on October 30th at the Renaissance Hotel, in Nashville.
The special guests will be Senator Doug Jones of Alabama and keynote speaker Congressman Conor Lamb of Pennsylvania.
Senator Jones was scheduled to be the keynote speaker early this year for the 2021 KCDP Truman Day Dinner that was canceled due to COVID. Jones is looking forward to returning to Tennessee with Congressman Lamb.
Congressman Lamb is a Marine and a former federal prosecutor who is running for U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania. Lamb currently represents the 17th congressional district in the Pittsburgh area. Lamb was first elected in a high-profile special election in 2018 when he won a district that Trump had won by nearly 20 points. Lamb won reelection twice in 2018 and 2020 in two of the most competitive congressional races in the country.
Lamb is seeking the Democratic nomination for the U.S.Senate in Pennsylvania to replace retiring Republican Senator Pat Toomey. Lamb’s platform emphasizes protections on our democracy, the right to vote, and workers’ rights, as well as a commitment to protect and expand Medicare and Social Security and to increase the minimum wage, among other priorities. Lamb has been endorsed by 18 local and national labor unions, as well as dozens of elected officials in western Pennsylvania.
