KNOXVILLE, TN (July 13, 2021) – There is still time for car and bike enthusiasts to pre-register for the 14th Annual Street Dreams Car and Bike Show. It will be on Saturday, July 24th from 10 am to 5 pm. at Eternal Life Harvest Plaza at 5-Points in East Knoxville. The event is family-friendly and free to attend.
The show offers live entertainment, music, food vendors, and entries from car enthusiasts, motorcyclists, and vintage owners from Georgia, North Carolina, Chattanooga, and areas across East Tennessee.

This year’s featured entertainer will be Oak Ridge native Brian Jones, Jr. aka “Camo Brian.” Camo is a rising star on the country music scene. His debut song “Already Famous” is a unique blend of hip-hop and country music and is available on all major music outlets. According to Blank News, Camo sees himself as able to bridge the cultural divide and race relations from a place of grace and healing that will make for some awkward moments in his industry.
Jay Fever, the host of ‘BRING IT’ dance competition on the Lifetime channel will be in attendance. Fever has been with Street Dreams from the onset. He travels from Chattanooga each year to attend. Knoxville’s own DJ K-Swift will be on board to keep the music flowing.
Trophies will be awarded for cars and motorcycles separately. Some of the categories for each include paint, motor, interior, classic, custom, and the coveted ‘Best-in-Show.’
This year participants in the ‘Pump-it-Up’ best sound system competition will have two chances to win. Co-sponsors Wes Strickland, owner of TN Bass Outlaws out of Bristol, Tenn., and Eric Halfacre of ‘Meca’ out of Kingston, TN., will each select winners. Strickland is also a member of the National Sound Pressure League (N.S.P.L.).

The show was birthed in Chattanooga by Pastor Victor E. King, Sr. and young men in the neighborhood of the church who along with King, enjoyed working on cars. Pastor King used it as an opportunity to sow seed. He sprinkled their interactions with alternative ways of living and a path to a higher power.
Their comradery sprouted a friendship and ultimately a fellowship. King said that over time, some of them started coming to church.
When Pastor King was assigned to Edgewood Chapel AME Zion Church at 2440 MLK Avenue in East Knoxville, he brought the car show with him. Many of the youth, now men, have maintained their relationships with Pastor King and travel to Knoxville to support their spiritual mentor and to participate and enjoy the show.
