Area Pride Events, Community Center planned - East Tennessee Enlightener

June 2021- Knox Pride to open a community outreach center in July — helping fulfill their mission as an LGBTQ+ nonprofit.

Knox Pride plans to establish a physical location in South Knoxville. More details to come on location and the official name.

Without a festival in 2021, we worked hard behind the scenes to get a community center in the works — and we are excited to execute this goal.

Knox Pride hopes to use the space for outreach, events, connective services, and a food pantry. With moving on their mind, the board hopes that the community and outreach center will be a focal point for LGBTQ+ resources, events, group meetings, and more as the location grows and receives more funding from individuals and businesses.

Knox Pride digital festival. Virtual events through the month of June include performers, poets, yoga, bingo, comedians and more. Entertainers and content creators can apply on the website or contact our Entertainment Committee by email at, entertainment@knoxpride.com.

We are looking for content creators to submit their written pieces, digital/scanned artwork, photography, old photo collections, and so on to be featured in this year’s ePridebook! Knox LGBT Businesses at South Side Pride, Sat Jun 12 at 12 to 9 pm, businesses on Sevier Ave in South Knoxville are planning a mini pride festival. This event is for Knox LGBT businesses group, our followers, friends and anyone needing information. Come out to show your support.

Victoria Pride Week Festival Youth Kick-Off Party. The Youth Pride Kick-Off Party returns for a fun-filled virtual event with a night of inspirational speakers and dazzling performances in an online Zoom event hosted by the Victoria Pride Society Youth Leadership Council. While geared for those 15 to 24 years old, the party is open to all ages. Instagram (@vps_youth_council).
