Kevin Jerome Roberts, age 33

KNOXVILLE, TN – Kevin Jerome Roberts was born July 11, 1987, departed this life on January 10, 2021. Kevin was a devoted son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. To know Kevin was to love him, anytime you were blessed to be in his presence you would be laughing, he was a natural comedian and enjoyed making people smile. His mission in life was to love and protect his family and to live life to the fullest. He shared a special bond with his sister and best friend Darlene. He loved Georgia football, fast cars, traveling and most of all he loved his family and playing with his nephews. He leaves us with amazing memories and a lifetime of happiness.

Preceded in death by grandmothers; Ruby Lee and Carrie Kimber Smith, Sister Jessie Roberts.  He is survived by Mother, Charlene Roberts, (My Queen); Father, Keith Smith, Sr.; Step-Father Berlon Outlaw; Step-Mother Sherry Robinson; Brothers: Nathan Roberts, Keith Smith Jr.; Sisters, Darlene Roberts and Ashley Nevels; Nephews, Keon Smith, Nathan Roberts Jr., Princeton, Deandre, and Knox Roberts; Nieces, Bry Case, Ariyah Dixon and host of aunts, uncles and other family and friends to include devoted friends; Maurice Davis, Tyron Hardin, Brandon Coats, Rudy Campbell, and Jaylen Cody.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 16, from 12 – 2 p.m. with the Celebration of Life Service to begin at 2 p.m. at the Unity Mortuary Chapel. Kevin will be laid to rest at Mt. Olive Cemetery by way of Horse Drawn Carriage. The family will be at 2439 Cecil Ave and will assemble there at 11 a.m. the day of the service.
