THE PEOPLE’S PLATFORM
The Knoxville Interdenominational Christian Ministerial Alliance requests Senator Blackburn to apologize for her treatment of Judge Katanji Brown Jackson during the Senate confirmation hearings.
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (April 5, 2022)
To Senator Marsha Blackburn, United States Senate, State of Tennessee,
We condemn your treatment of Supreme Court nominee Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson
in the Senate hearing on March 21, 2022. It was rude, disrespectful, and embarrassing
to our state. While we expect a certain level of partisanship in these forums your
questions and accusations were poorly researched, wildly inaccurate, and astonishingly
offensive. We look to our elected leadership for accurate information not egregious
misinformation. We serve congregations that include people who vote Republican,
Democrat, Independent and more and yet we are united in condemning your treatment
of Judge Jackson and ask you to apologize for your rude behavior to her and to your
constituents.
Rev. A. Gene Thomas, President, on behalf of Knoxville Interdenominational Christian Ministerial Alliance

No. She shouldn’t. MOST people see the catastrophe that the left is creating. How can you all not be embarrassed at your lack of common sense? It’s not hateful to speak the absolute truth of what a women is. We don’t hate non traditional people. Everyone should be respectful of human rights. But this insanity about gender must stop. You’re tearing people apart with YOUR hate.
Thank you for reading and responding. I wholeheartedly agree that division and hate need to stop. Using divisive labels, such as left v right etcetera, is at the heart of division and hate.
