For Black History Month of February, Mayor Jacobs’ bi-weekly small business series will specifically focus on Black-owned businesses with video interviews airing Wednesdays on the county and Mayor’s various social media platforms. The interviews are designed to highlight the works of small businesses and share plans for the future.
“From my previous job, I’ve been one of the companies who needed to get technological support but couldn’t find anything either close by or anything in the companies price range.” said Blair. “I would really like to stay in East Tennessee to solve that problem.” Blair, an entrepreneur and founder of the tech company, lost his job during the pandemic. Seeing a need in the market, he launched a business capable of providing the solutions some companies are searching for: simple solutions to everyday tech issues for small businesses in any sector of the market.
“We’re not a software reseller. We sit down with each client individually and we design a solution that will work for them at the price point that they want to be at.” Said Blair. The Mayor and Blair discussed the role technology plays in assisting small businesses to progress in the digital age and how integrating improved procedures can make internal communication that much easier. The Mayor also praised Blair for his commitment to the region and his entrepreneurial desire to see a need, start a business, and succeed while helping other businesses grow.
