UScellular and Boys & Girls Club of the Tennessee Valley Announce Seventh Annual Black History Month Art Contest
Local UScellular associates will join the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley representatives have kicked off the seventh annual Black History Month Art Contest. Club members will be creating an original 8.5×11 work of art that recognizes an influential Black icon in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM), or a historical figures world leader, scientist, or educator for submission in the contest.
So parents teachers and friends of club members can also use this opportunity to introduce participants to qualifying subjects to feature. Ten finalists will be chosen by representatives from the Boys & Girls Clubs and local UScellular managers based on creativity, quality, interpretation, clarity of theme and overall impression.
The artwork of the 10 finalists will be digitally displayed in select stores throughout the month of February, for participants 18 and older to cast an online vote for their favorite art. The top three vote-getters will be announced in March and will receive prizes that include $250 for first place, $150 for second and $100 for third.
No Purchase Necessary to vote. Entrants who are minors must have parental consent to vote in the Contest.
