PRAYER GATHERING for Missing Desheena Kyle

A prayer gathering is scheduled for 6 pm, Monday, July 5th at Victor Ashe Park in northwest Knoxville in an effort to “bring Dasheena home.”

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (June 30, 2021) — The Knoxville Police Department is asking for help to find a missing Knoxville woman who hasn’t been heard from since June 23.

As of June 28, the Knoxville Police Department has declared Desheena Kyle, age 26, as missing from a Wilson Road residence in Northwest Knoxville.

Desheena is approximately 5’3 and 130 pounds. Investigators have reason to believe that she is in danger. KPD is requesting help from the public to find her.

Anyone who sees her or has any information of her whereabouts or circumstances leading up to her disappearance is asked to call 911 or make an anonymous call to the East Tennessee Valley Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477; Investigator McGowen at 865-215-6813.

According to those close to Desheena, a welfare check of the residence on June 25, revealed evidence that her safety and well-being could be compromised. Some of the neighbors are reluctantly aware of previous problems and also have concerns for her safety.
Members of the Turner, Jackson and Kyle families are pleading to her friends, neighbors, coworkers, and anyone who may have an inkling of information that can help to bring DeSheena home to also “reach out to them in the utmost confidence.”
According to close friends, Desheena has not been to work, drove her car, nor been seen at her residence. A few weeks before her disappearance, her phone was not worked properly and now not working at all.
