Sarah Moore Greene celebrates year of Global Leadership theme

To help celebrate the school’s International Night, Sarah Moore Greene Magnet Academy on Tuesday brought a special guest to school — Taco the Llama!
This year, SMG adopted a magnet theme of Global Leadership, and the International Night celebration featured food from around the world, dioramas highlighting the Amazon rain forest and Spanish-language flashcards for students.
Kindergarten student Kaleigha Wilkins and her cousin, third-grader Jordin Gardner, came to the event with Jordin’s mother, and both got a chance to meet Taco. Asked what she thought, Wilkins said the llama “feels like a comfy pillow.”
