Willie Mae Glenn, age 81

Knoxville – Willie Mae Glenn, 81, of Knoxville, TN was welcomed home into the arms of Our Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at home with family.

Preceded in death by parents, Willie and LouElla S. Cannon; brothers, Oscar and James Dillard; sisters, Mary Alice, Lena Harris, and Lilla Boyd; daughter, Patricia Longshore; son, Calvin Cannon.

Survived by devoted daughter, Beverly (Darwyn) Williams, Betty Cannon, and Carolyn (Harry) Davenport; sons, Anthony (Tanaya) Glenn Sr, Timothy Glenn, and Jimmy (Michellel) Longshore, granddaughters, Faith (Jacquea) Williams, Antasia Glenn; grandsons, Denzel Williams, Anthony Glenn, Jr.; 31 other grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren.

She was a longtime member of Rogers Memorial Baptist Church. She was a loyal member of the Senior Usher Board, Mass Choir, Sunday school teacher, and Kitchen Committee.

She was employed several years as a Senior Companion and a Foster Grandparent with CAC.

Willie Mae was a Loving Mother, Grandmother, and friend to many.

The family will receive friends, 11:30 a.m. – noon, Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at Jarnigan & Son Chapel, with funeral services 12 noon, Pastor Michel S.E. Caldwell, Officiating. Interment, at New Gray Cemetery, 2724 Western Ave, Knoxville, Tn 37921.
