Ronald Lee “Ronnie” Gurley, age 61
KNOXVILLE, TN – Ronald Lee “Ronnie” Gurley was born, June 8, 1960, and departed this life on March 21, 2021 at Tennova North Medical Center.
Preceded in death by parents, Mary Taylor and Thomas Gurley; stepfather, John B. Coleman and brother, Thomas Taylor.
Ronald is survived by children; Shara, Dasiny, and Ronald “Lil Ronnie McIlwayne of Knoxville, TN, Pam Duncan of Knoxville, TN, Tasha Duncan of Mississippi, Kelsey and Christopher Beaty of Maryville, TN, and Rodney Smith of Maryville, TN, grandchildren; Aniya, Destiny, Amia, Ronnayzha, Leron, Vamariyah, and Ronald all of Knoxville, TN; sister, Pamela Gurley Anthony, Knoxville, TN, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends to include devoted friends; Germaine, Bobette and Lisa, all of Knoxville, TN.
The family will receive friends, 6 to 6:30 p.m., Friday, March 26, 2021, at Jarnigan’s Chapel, 2823 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave Knoxville, TN 37914; funeral services, 6:30 p.m. Minister Lavisha Cantrell, Officiating.
Interment, 11 a.m., Saturday, March 27, 2021, at Berry Highland South Cemetery, 9010 W Simpson Rd, Knoxville, TN 37920.
