MYNARK Tribe is hosting a free, fun learning event – the 1st Annual “Super Fish Bowl” on April 3rd from 8 am to 4 pm, at Big Ridge State Park in Norris, TN.

You are invited to attend an organizational meeting for volunteers, sponsors, and participating youth at 6 pm, this Wednesday, March 17, at the E.V. Davidson Rec Center on Wilson Avenue in East Knoxville. Novice and experienced fisherpersons, both male and female, are needed to learn and to teach others the joy of fishing at this fun event for youths and adults.

Kenneth Dawson Jenkins, Jr. is the CEO of MYNARK Tribe Inc., which is the acronym for “Master Your Natural Ability Reaching Kingship.”  Its purpose is to teach and provide area youth with productive recreational and learning alternatives to the lure of mischief and mayhem.

MYNARK Anglers is a fishing program that teaches the fundamentals of fishing. Fishing is an excellent way to unplug, reduce stress and boost self-esteem while performing low-impact exercises.

Fishing builds patience, perseverance, and optimism. It also instills valuable life skills and lessons; how to plan, prepare, and organize for success on the water and throughout life.

Mynark Tribe is an upcoming 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded by Kenneth Jenkins, Jr. who is on a mission to provide our youths with opportunities for positive development, healthy eating habits, physical fitness, academic achievement, and most of all a village of caring community supporters.

The Super Fish Bowl tournament will include fishing games, karate demonstrations, food, and good-natured friendly competition.

In-kind donations are much needed to help make Jenkin’s vision a reality that will benefit children of all ages. Donations are tax deductible. Recognition of all donations will be acknowledged on the website and at the event (with permission).
