Knox County Schools accepting school transfers for 2021-22 school year

Transfer Window Open Until February 16

Is your student considering a school outside of your family’s attendance zone? Families seeking a transfer can submit an application until 4 p.m. on Feb. 16, 2021.

Many students are assigned and bused to attendance zones outside of their neighborhoods. This may be an opportunity for your student to attend the school in your community.

Online transfer requests can be submitted on our website, or by downloading a print form. More information is available on this FAQ document provided by the Transfer Department, including a list of ranked priorities for transfer requests.

Senior Citizens Earned Bachelor’s Degrees

Eldrea Ann Taylor completed a journey that began over 30 years ago. At 63-years old, she has earned her Bachelor’s in Organizational Management from Nyack College in New York in May. She attended class on the Washington, D.C. campus. She also obtained her Procurement and Public Contracting Certification from the University of the District of Columbia this year.
