Alcoa, TN – James “Romie” Christopher Tyson, 40, departed this life on February 3, 2021 in his home. James never met a stranger and was loved by many. He made it his mission to help others and to ensure no one left his presence without him departing a philosophic word of wisdom first.
James attended Alcoa High School and later earned his C.N.A. license, which further served as a testament to his desire to care for others. James was a man of many talents. He loved to share his creative written expressions with family and friends.
Proceeded in death by mother Nancy Tyson, grandparents James and Ernestine Lindsey, Sr., uncle and aunt Willie and Carolyn Mitchell.
He is survived by wife, Christianne Kohler; father, Arthur Tyson Sr; Children: Hezekiah Tyson, Jamauren Tyson, Khaleeha C. Restall; Siblings: Arthur Jr, Teresa, Kristi, Niki (Bobby) Chisholm, Michael; Dear cousins: Richard (Katrina) Mitchell, Dale Mitchell, Shannon (Frenchie) Mitchell, Geoffrey (Erica) Lindsey, Dustin Lindsey; Uncle, James (Debbie) Lindsey; Aunt, Donna Lindsey; Devoted nieces and nephews: Janeesa, Taharin, Anjelique, Christopher, Jaquez, Brealyn, Nianja, K’Vaughn, Solomon, Briana, Ki’Aryn, Amelia Grace, Kyrin; Great nieces and nephews: Jacarra, Nia, Hendrix, Ja’Khi, Khalid, Jaquez II; Extended siblings: William Henderson, Walter Henry, Tiffany Newcomb, Kendra Evans and Sisley Geter; The entire Rockford family, the Sudderth family, and a host of family and friends.
