Knoxville, TN – James Alvin Davis born in Gadsden, Alabama, a native of Detroit, MI and a resident of Knoxville, TN for over 30 years, departed this life on February 3, 2021.

He was preceded in death; by Brother Kenneth Davis, Mother, Mrs. Helen Davis, Father, Mr. James H Davis, Sr, and Brother Ishman Davis. James is survived by Daughters Ms. Amy M Davis, Mrs. Stephanie M. Davis-Marine, Son-in-law, Mr. Derek Marine, Grandson Christian E.P. Marine, Sisters Ms. Betty Cook, Ms. Judith Davis, Brothers Stephen Davis and Phillip Davis, nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
