Wilma Jean Upton (age 74)
Wilma Jean Upton departed this life on January 15, 2021. She was born July 5, 1947, in Knoxville, TN and lived the last 20 years in Normal, IL. After retiring from OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Normal, IL, she returned home to Knoxville to be with her family.
Preceded in death by parents Samuel and Lois Upton; brothers, Ray, Richard, and Carroll Upton.
She is survived by sisters, Linda Upton-Willis, and Margaret (Dr. Milton) Smith, Knoxville, TN; brothers; Jerry Upton and Stanley Upton, Knoxville, TN. Special friend and caregiver Sheila Lowery; nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews whom she loved dearly; many other relatives, cousins and friends.
Visitation Saturday, January 23, 2021, 10:30 – 11 a.m.; funeral service will follow in Jarnigan’s Chapel; Rev. Shawn Angel, Officiating.
