Mary Margie Howell Kincaid
Knoxville – Mary ‘Margie” Howell Kincaid was peacefully called home to Glory on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Mrs. Kincaid was preceded in death by her father Mr. William Henry Howell, mother Virginia Wright, her two brothers, two sisters, daughter Gloria-Anne Kincaid and Kimberly Capps Kincaid.
Mrs. Kincaid precedes her loving family, husband Allen Theodore Kincaid, sister and brother, Virginia and Alex James and their loving children; Frances Kincaid Dougherty, Virginia Kincaid Johnson, Yolanda Kincaid Tate, Carl A. Kincaid, Jeffery A. Kincaid, Adrian T Kincaid, and Annette Yvonne Kincaid and their spouses; including 33 grandkids, 32 great-grandkids, and 6 great-great-grandkids.
Mrs. Kincaid also precedes, special friend’s Emma Cowan and Gladys Cowan and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Kincaid spent her life in service to others as a wife, a mother, a nurse, as well as her professional career as the Executive Housekeeper at one of Knoxville’s premier hotels. She was a confidant educator and comforter of all who came in touch with her. She loved God, her family, her friends and community. She is loved by many and will be missed.
Her life accomplishments include but are not limited to the following; she was a member of the Eastern Star organization, AARP, American Hotel Motel Association, Community Organizer, Recreational Leader, Destiny Builder Servant, Motivator, Best Friend, Devil Buster, and a true to life role model for us all.
The family wishes to thank the doctors and medical staff at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. for their wonderful care and support throughout Mrs. Kincaid’s earthly transition.

The family will receive friends, 12:30-1 p.m., Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Jarnigan’s Chapel; funeral service, 1 p.m. Interment, East Tennessee State Veteran’ Cemetery- John Sevier Hwy.
