Kenneth E Allmon, Jr. (age 46)
Kenneth Eugene Allmon, Jr. “Ken” departed this life on January 23, 2021 in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was born May 15, 1974 in Knoxville, Tennessee to Kenneth Sr. and Renee’ T. Allmon.
Ken completed his high school education in the Knox County School System on June 24, 1992. He loved to cook and had an aspiration of becoming a chef. He loved trying new recipes and old-time favorites too. Ken enjoyed many things but his skilled craft was flooring. He loved installing floors and making them better than they were; he was very good at it.
Never meeting a stranger…literally! He once brought a homeless person into our home to shower and feed. When asked, “Why did you do that?” He answered with a question, “What would Jesus do?” He was genuine in everything he said and anything he did. He would give anyone his last dime or last meal without hesitation. Ken will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lewis and Ella Taylor; paternal grandparents, Elder Joe and Elder Hattie Allmon; aunt and uncle, Johnnie D. and Clyde Hollingsworth; uncle, Isaiah Jones; aunt and uncle, Violet and Louis Thompson.
