Gun Safety Convention for African-Americans in Atlanta

The National African-American Gun Association to host the first African-American Firearm Convention in U.S. history. The 3-day Inaugural Convention will be August 20 – 22, 2021 in Atlanta, GA.

ATLANTA, GA, Black PR Wire (January 1, 2021) – The Inaugural National African-American Gun Association (NAAGA) to host the first African-American Firearm Convention in U.S. History. The NAAGA Convention will be over a three-day period, Friday through Sunday, August 20 – 22, 2021, in Atlanta, GA at the Georgia International Convention Center.

Each day will focus on facets of Black American gun ownership. It will be a celebration of our origin, our status, and our views for the future including culture, education, and entertainment

Topics covered will include Firearms etiquette, training, products, Gun culture, education, safety, and the Politics of Firearms in the Black Community. (www.NAAGA.org)

The National African American Gun Association is a firearm association aimed at aiding the
education and promotion of gun ownership to all Black Americans. Philip Smith is the National
President and Founder. The organization centers its education, concerns and training around
the Black community. People of all religious, social, and racial perspectives are welcomed to
join. The 2021 theme is “We Are Family” as we bring together attendees representing our
30,000+ membership community.

“The backbone of the National African American Gun Association are blue-collar folks who

The schedule of the inaugural 3-day Convention will include:

• Meet and Greet National Shooting Competition, Friday, August 20 at Stoddard’s Gun Range. Up to 50 conference participants will compete for national bragging rights.

• Convention Opening Ceremony, Saturday, August 21, Georgia International Convention Center. The Traditional Black Arms presentation, a plethora of entertainment and education sessions throughout the day. Keynote speakers Philip Smith sdfsdfds; Nicholas Johnson, author and professor; Akinyele Umoj, educator, activist and author; Tiffany Johnson, attorney and firearm trainer; and Charles Cobb, Jr., organizer, agitator and writer. firearms, and educational sessions.

•  Recognition of Nationwide Chapters, Sunday, August 22. Key topics will range from managing the business and finance of chapters to membership recruitment methods, policies and procedures, community engagement and on the NAAGA National Emergency Support Team (NEST), a growing connected self-sufficient community.
