Doris A Phillips (age 75)
Mrs. Doris Ann Phillips, born June 24, 1945 in Bluff City, TN to Harley Boyd and Grace Isabella Wells. She was a graduate of Slater High School. Doris enjoyed life, she loved her grandkids and always put her family first. From football to jazzercise, she loved music, she loved to dance, and she was “The Greatest” in the kitchen. She made every birthday and holiday a tradition and a memory for all her family to cherish forever. Doris spent 48 committed loving years with her soulmate, Celee Phillips. Doris was the best mother to her kids and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren unconditionally.
May her soul rest in peace, God gained one of his greatest angels. We love you!
Preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Wells; parents; brother, Larry Wells and sister, Ella Kearney.
Her loving memory will live on with her husband, Celee Phillips; son, Rodney Cooke of Knoxville, TN; daughters, Christina Blance (James), Monica Davidson and Letoria Cooper (Michael), all of Knoxville, TN; brothers, Billy Wells (Irene) of Bluff City, TN, Harlan Wells (Janice) of Johnson City, TN; sisters, Ruth Mensah of Bluff City, TN, Sarah Frazier of Knoxville, TN; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
