Charles Harold Scott (age 67)

On November 5, 2020, Charles Harold Scott went home to be with the Lord. He was born January 15, 1953 to Warren and Mary (McAliley) Scott, Sr. in Knoxville, TN. Charles was the youngest of 12 children.

Charles received his formal education in the Knoxville Public School System and joined Mount Calvary Baptist Church at a young age. Charles served his country in the Marine Corps from 1971-1973 then reenlisted from 1980-1984. After being honorably discharged, Charles went to work at Pepsi Cola Company for over 10 years. Between tours, Charles married Joyce L. Williams in 1973 and through this union they had a beautiful daughter, Charlene, named after him.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents Warren and Mary; 4 brothers: James, David, Donald, Warren Jr.; 5 sisters: Minnie, Bernice, Barbara Jean, Margaret, and Ruby. He leaves to cherish his memory a devoted daughter and son-in-law Charlene Scott (Kory) Thomas and grand dog, Dover; 2 sisters Jeanette Scott McKinney and Shirley Scott (Clarence) Mitchell, a caring niece Mary Alice Reed, nieces and nephews Marvin “Maurice” Scott, Margaret Scott, Anthony “Tony” Scott, Clarence Scott and Nicolsha Scott and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends to include loving cousin Mary Hodges.

The family will announce memorial service arrangements to be officiated by Pastor Nicolsha Scott at a later date.
