KCDP Citywide Early Voting Tailgates this Saturday
Meet & Greet Tailgates at Knoxville Early voting sites this Saturday, October 24th.
KNOXVILLE, TN (Oct. 23, 2020) – The Knox County Democratic Party is sponsoring tailgate-style rallies at early voting sites in Knoxville. While casting your vote early this Saturday, not only will you avoid long lines and waiting times, you can meet Dem candidates, get some free swag, and yard signs for your preferred candidates.
All events are outside of, and 100ft or more of early voting polling sites. You are invited to stop by as you vote. Physically distancing, and wearing a mask is required.
Candidates making the rounds at the tailgate rallies at early voting sites include; for State Rep. Dist 13, incumbent Gloria Johnson; for State Rep. Dist. 15 Sam McKenzie; for U.S Congress Dist. 2 Renee Hoyos; for State Rep. Dist 18 Virginia Couch, for State Rep. Dist 14 Justin Davis; for State Rep. Dist 16 Elizabeth Rowland; and for State Senate Dist. 6 Jane George.
New Harvest Park, 11am – 1pm
Hosted by Elizabeth Rowland for State Rep. Dist. xx, will be visited by Democratic candidates on the ballot, for a tailgate-style meet & greet under the picnic shelter at New Harvest Park near the early voting site at 4775 New Harvest Park Lane, Knoxville, 37918.
The Love Kitchen, 12pm – 1:30pm
Hosted by Knox County Dems at 2418 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave, Knoxville, 37914.
Downtown West, 2pm – 4pm
Hosting Dem candidate Jane George for Tenn. State Senator Dist. 6, will be supported by candidate Renee Hoyos for U.S Congress Dist. 2 and other Dem candidates. The tailgate-style event will be in the lot in front of the Downtown West early voting site, legally distanced from the entrance at 1543 Downtown West Blvd.
