The State of Tennessee is issuing business relief payments through the Tennessee Business Relief Program to small businesses for costs incurred as a result of mandatory business closures.
It’s worth your time to take a look. The categories of qualifying small businesses have been expanded and may include yours. The list includes mobile food services, beauty and barber shops, used merchandise stores, clothing and shoe stores, beauty supply, new and used car dealerships, and online merchants based in Tennessee and many more. For a complete list and instructions to apply visit the link below. The deadline is September 25, 2020.
This program directs approximately Coronavirus Relief Funds directly to small businesses that qualify. Relief payments are based on a business’s annual gross sales. Payments range from $2,500 to $30,000. Please note additional eligible businesses added on August 14, 2020. The deadline for businesses to certify to claim their part of the remaining $125 million is September 25, 2020.
