Free Movies on the Midway at Chilhowee Park
KNOXVILLE, TN – This fall, the silver screen is coming to the Midway at Chilhowee Park for three nights: Friday, October 9, 16, & 30.
And you get to pick the flicks! This year’s line up will be chosen through a public vote from September 23-29. To vote click below:↓↓
This year, due to COVID-19, we’re making some changes. Movies on Market Square will be at a drive-in. The Midway at Chilhowee Park is the perfect location with room for 100+ cars to enjoy a great fall evening with the family.
The entrance will be the gate at 3427 Martin Luther King, Jr Ave. Reservations can be made beginning Oct. 2nd. Next to your car will be space for lawn chairs or blankets.
The gates open at 5 pm, the movie starts at 7:30 pm. No entry after the show begins so arrive early.
Make sure your vehicle or you have are equipped with a working FM radio to hear the movie. You can also bring your own snacks, there will be no food or beverages onsite. Restrooms will be available; face masks are required. No alcohol or fire arms permitted.
How to make reservations
Once we’ve established the line up from the public vote, we’ll open reservations on October 2. You’ll need one ticket per vehicle for admission.
