Forestine “Dumpy” A Bowerman (age 73)

Forestine A. Bowerman, “Dumpy” went to her enteral life on Saturday, September 5, 2020.

She attended College Hill School.  She enjoyed cooking, fishing, and the outdoors.  Dumpy was a second mother to her siblings and their children, loving them as if they were her own.  She will be greatly miss by her family.

Dumpy was preceded in death by her mother, Alma J. Beck and her father, Owen Woods; her sister, Milinda Beck; and her husband James H. Bowerman.

She leaves to cherish her memories, sisters, Debra (Allen) Moore and Nina Beck; brothers, Roy Beck and Festus Beck, all of Cleveland, Tennessee; nieces, Dameka Johnson of Alabama, Shyla Wilbanks, and Courtney Ginorio of Cleveland, Tn; nephews, Tyrone Beck of Cleveland, Tn., Marvell Moore of Oakridge, Tn, Keyonsay Moore of Georgia, Ryan Beck, and Milik Beck both of Cleveland, Tn.; a host of  relatives and friends.

Body may be viewed Wednesday, September 9 at the Patton Funeral Home Chapel 265 Fair Street S.E. Cleveland, Tennessee from 12:00 noon until 6:00p.m.  Service will be Thursday, September 10, 12:00 noon at the Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church,  799 East Inman Street.  Reverend Edward S.
