Charles Samuel Brawner, age 75

KNOXVILLE, TN – Charles Samuel Brawner, 75 passed away peacefully at home on September 9, 2020, after a courageous battle with renal kidney failure.

Born on September 8, 1945 in Elberton, GA, Charles served as a healthcare provider for many years. He is proceeded in death by Father Richard Moon, Mother Sarah Gaines, Son Charles Richard Brawner, Grandchildren (Charles Jr and MaKala) and 2 brothers.

He survived by his beloved daughters Vanya (Marvin) Rucker and Elizabeth Brawner, four brothers, a sister, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends to include special friend LeNell White. The family extends their deepest thanks to the staff of Parkwest Medical Center & Palliative Care.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 18, 2020 from 2-3 p.m. with funeral service to follow at Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church Knoxville. Pastor Rick Rice officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Knoxville.
