Jarkesia S Howell (age 29)

Knoxville, TN – Our beloved Jarkesia Shakara Howell, born March 28, 1991, was called to join her Mom in heaven on Sunday, May 31, 2020. A loving free-spirited person, she is now amongst the angels and will forever live in our hearts.

Jarkesia enjoyed life always dancing, talking, taking selfies and spending time with family.  She worked a vast number of jobs but working as a Dietary Aide at Summit View of Farragut was her favorite.

Jarkesia gave her life to Christ at the age of 9.  As a child of God, she was always a happy, kind, and comforting person.  She never turned away anyone in need of help or just a listening ear.  Jarkesia was loved by everyone she knew and will be deeply missed by all.

Preceded in death and welcomed by her mother, Lakesia Smith; grandmothers, Brenda Stewart, Arrie King and Moezella Howell; grandfathers, Dock Stewart, Jr., Edward Smith and Charles Howell and uncle, Jim King.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Amniya, Jace, Brooke, Pierre and Siaani; father, Janardo Howell (“Patty Patty”); sisters, Ebonee and Destiny; brothers, Demetrice and Terry; aunts, Shamenta (Theo), Haleema, Tonja and Ollie Pearl; uncles, Dock III, Ken (Jeanni) and Jabar; nieces, Neveah, D’erin, Dee Ija and Ambriah; cousins, Jockquez, Zerrick, Marion (Mark Man), Roy, Sabrina, “Che Che”, China, Delight, Camilla and Amanda; a host of other family and friends to include devoted and special friends, Martha Acosta, Dion Robinson, DeAngelo Galbreath, Dewayne Turner and Bennie Burrell.
