Despite the turmoil reported many times a day by more news outlets than can be followed, people loving and embracing people, God’s children, continues to rise above the fray.
KNOXVILLE, TN (January 2020) – From Pastor Barbara Jackson, “I went to the Knox County Clerk’s office today to get my passport renewed. I signed in and sat next to these people and told them “I’m going to flop right here.” I sat down and continued to talk to the people on the bench with me.”
“This sweet couple was there to get married. I said, ‘well I’m a licensed clergy I don’t mind to do it for you.’ I talked with the couple intensely for a little bit about their responsibility to each other in the eyesight of God. My number was called and I proceeded to get my passport picture and information updated. When I returned to my seat the young lady had changed into her wedding apparel, and shortly after I had the honor and pleasure at the Knox County Clerk’s office (at the front entrance) to perform the wedding service for the love birds.”
This is so Sweet, at the right place at the perfect time. Love it!
