Curtis Gibson
KNOXVILLE, TN – Curtis Gibson, age 89, received his call to be present with the Lord on Monday, February 24th at his home surrounded by his loving family. Preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Jessie Mae Gibson and son Barry C. Gibson. He leaves to rejoice in his home-going, children: Janice (William) Gibson-Fuller of Albany, NY; Graylan (Susan) Gibson, Nedra and Randall Gibson of Knoxville; Sister, Lorene Mangham of Douglass, GA; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
Services will be Saturday, February 29th at Foster Chapel Baptist Church, 2101 Ault Road Knoxville, TN. The family will receive friends, 12:30-1 p.m. followed by a celebration of life officiated by Pastor Joseph Tolbert. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
