Be part of the process to select delegates for the DNC Convention.  Want to be a delegate at the DNC Convention in 2020?  If you’re a dedicated Democrat who wants to serve your community, county, district, and state, then we welcome you to run to be a delegate for your preferred candidate and join us as a 2020 Presidential Convention Delegate to take your part in history!  Visit TNDP for more information.You must file by February 20 to be a delegate candidate, vote in the primary on March 3 and attend your county party convention on March 7 and congressional party convention on March 21.
The Blount County Democratic Convention will be held:

6:00 PM: Q&A Session about becoming a delegate selector and/or a candidate for the DNC Convention
6:30 PM – regular meeting starts.  Agenda includes:

  • Introduction of candidates seeking to be elected as a delegate at the DNC Convention
  • Top tier presidential campaigns have been invited to speak and answer questions about the candidate.
  • Elections, New Voting Machines – Report: Dan McCord, Blount County Election Commission
  • Speaker: Greg McKay, Election Observer for the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe and former Knox County Elections Administrator

The public is invited to attend.
