Cleveland, TN – Sandra Reba Jean McCleary, age 69 of Cleveland, TN entered the presence of her Savior on December 22, 2019.
Reba was a kind and loving woman who never met a stranger. Her love for people and her compassion for others compelled her to always share whatever she had even if it meant giving up her own garments to meet that need. Reba was also known for making others laugh. She retired from Scottish Inns in Marietta, GA after 20 years of service and returned home to Charelston, TN in 2013. Reba was an active member of Mount Eagle Baptist Church in Charleston, TN where she joined as a child.
Reba is preceded in death by her parents, the late Alfred and Eva McCleary; one daughter, Crystal Moore; granddaughter, Jerea Morrison; one brother, Rev. Paul McCleary.
She is survived by her longtime companion, Ira Paulk of Cleveland, Tn; her daughters, Sonya McCleary of Charleston, Benita (Chris) Woods of Georgetown, Tn. ; Elizabeth Moore of Chattanooga, Tn.; Eight grandchildren which includes two special mentions, Kenisha McCleary and Bryant McDermott; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mildred Summey of Knoxville, Tn. and Carolyn Talley of Chattanooga, Tn.; one special sister in law, Purnella McCleary of Charleston, Tn ; a host of nieces and nephews; the family is grateful for her special friend, Margaret Maynor.
Her body may be viewed Saturday, December 28 from noon until 6 p. m. at the Patton Funeral Home Chapel, 265 Fair St., Cleveland, TN. Family will receive friends Sunday 2 p. m. until 2:30 p.m. service time at Mount Eagle Baptist Church, Rev. Edward S Robinson Jr will be the Eulogist.
