CONNECT Ministries New Location Dedication on Thursday
KNOXVILLE, TN (Oct. 2019) C.O.N.N.E.C.T. Ministries has relocated from Magnolia Ave. to 3615 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave., which is the former location Smoky Mountain Hospice administrative office in East Knoxville.
A dedication ceremony will be at 3 pm, this Thursday, Oct. 17, 2019.
Community Organizations Networking Neighborhoods Encouraging Change Together or C.O.N.N.E.C.T. Ministries is a 501 (c) (3) “hands-on” networking community information resource center. The ministry started in 2006, as an extension of community services that are available at Greater Warner Tabernacle A.M.E. Zion Church that is across the street from the new location on MLK Ave.
The mission of C.O.N.N.E.C.T. Ministries is to advocate for disadvantaged youth, single-mothers, the homeless, ex-offenders, veterans, the mentally ill and others in need. It offers needed assistance to citizens who have been underserved by connecting them to needed resources from a diverse list of “gap” organizations.
The ministry offers connections to referrals that can assist with: building a resume, job readiness training, employment, housing services, and more.
