Where to Go After the Polls Close

Primary election Watch Parties will be taking place throughout the city. Some of the candidates are sponsoring watch parties. After months of supporting a candidate, here is where they will be on election night.

Now if this is not your thing, you can sit back, relax and enjoy Jazz on the Square in downtown Knoxville at 8 pm and check-in Wednesday morning for your choice of remaining candidates that will define the City of Knoxville for the next 4-years; whether you voted or not.

Listed below are the watch parties we found posted on Facebook (tongue in cheek). To join your candidate’s watch party go to:

City Council Movement Candidates, David Hayes, Charles Al Bawi, and Amelia Parker; 7-11 pm at Extreme Sports Bar, 3017 E. Magnolia across from the Pilot convenience store.

Kincannon for Mayor; 8-10 pm at Relix, 1208 N. Central St.

Fletcher for Mayor; 7 pm Skybox Sports Bar and Grill, food provided.

Calvin Taylor Skinner for Mayor; 7:30 pm Summit Towers, 201 Locust St. Food provided.

Marshall Stair for Mayor; 7-10 pm, Elmont Exchange, 745 N. Broadway. Appetizers provided.

Eddie Mannis for Mayor; 7:30 pm, The Grande Event Center, 5441 Clinton Hwy (formerly the Expo Center) promises food and entertainment laced with great anticipation.
