MAYORAL CANDIDATE MARSHALL STAIR ENDORSED BY CURRENT AND FORMER KNOXVILLE ELECTED OFFICIALS
Knoxville, TN – Candidate for Knoxville city mayor Marshall Stair has received the endorsements of former Knoxville City Mayor Daniel Brown, former Chair of the Knox County Commission Tank Strickland, and Knoxville City Councilman Mark Campen.
“It feels great to have support from these current and former colleagues whom I have a great deal of respect for,” said Councilman Stair. “I’m very grateful and appreciate their support of our campaign and our vision to move Knoxville Forward.”
“I am supporting Marshall Stair because I think he’ll be a great mayor for this city,” said Mayor Brown. “He is a man who has concern for the citizens of Knoxville. I had the pleasure to serve with him on City Council for 6 years and I know that he has a good heart for the people, and he would do well to serve this city as mayor.”
“I’ve worked with all three of the major candidates for mayor, and Marshall just rises to the top,” said Commissioner Strickland. “He’s innovative, he’s smart, he’s progressive, and that’s part of the reason I’m supporting Marshall Stair.”
“I’ve known Marshall since before we began serving on City Council,” said councilman Campen. “He is honest, energetic and ready to serve. Marshall is an effective, bi-partisan leader ready to face our collective challenges as a city.”
Early voting is underway. The primary election for your next mayor is August 27th. For more information, visit www.marshallstair.com.
